Ingredients

  • Salt (to taste).
  • carrot (10 g).
  • 1 stem with parsley.
  • 1 large potato (30 g).
  • 1 medium onion (40 g).
  • Vegetable oil (to taste).
  • 2.5 dl chicken broth.
  • 1 dl white wine.
  • 4 fillets of chicken breast (400 g)
  • 2 peppers, one red and one green (30 g).

Cooking

  1. Cut all the vegetables (the green pepper, the red pepper, the carrot and the onion) into small pieces. Then do the same with the potato (make sure it has been washed and peeled before).
  2. Once you have cut up all the vegetables, add salt so they lose moisture when fried. This makes it easier to fry them since they release liquid when fried.
  3. In a frying pan, add oil and fry the vegetables with a little salt. (to taste).
  4. When everything is cooked, add the chicken broth and white wine. You can buy ready-made broth or you can follow the steps on chicken broth below.
  5. Add the chicken and another pinch of salt.
  6. Let it cook for 20 minutes until the chicken is completely done and the broth has evaporated. The vegetables should have turned into a kind of sauce around the chicken.

Chicken broth:

  • Add water to a saucepan with vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, celery, turnips, leeks and chicken.
  • Let the ingredients boil a little in the pan over medium heat so the water absorbs the chicken flavor.

Sometimes you can use salt water instead of chicken broth to prepare all the ingredients. If you do not want to risk losing all the flavor, add chopped tomatoes to the vegetables.
