Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 almonds (70 g)
  • 2 plates dark chocolate (200 g)
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar (90 g)
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (15 g)
  • 100 grams of cream
  • 4 dl with whole milk
  • 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract (15 ml)

Cooking

  • First, grate the chocolate in a bowl. Then boil the milk over low heat and add the grated chocolate.
  • Allow to cool and set aside.
  • Next, you have the egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well until it becomes a creamy mass.
  • Then add the milk and chocolate mixture and continue to stir.
  • Place it over low heat again, but do not let it boil. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  • Pour the mixture into the ice cream machine until it hardens; add the chopped almonds when almost done.
  • Put the ice cream in a mold and cool it down until it becomes solid.
