Ingredients

  • 6 whole cloves with garlic
  • 2 cups extra virgin olive oil (500 ml)
  • 0.5 glass of lemon juice (100 ml)
  • 1 glass bottle (at least 500 ml)

Preparation

  1. The first thing you need to do is wash the garlic well with plenty of warm water.
  2. Leave them for 20 minutes without stirring.
  3. After this, remove the shell from each clove until everything is gone. 
  4. Place the cloves on a small baking tray and place in the oven at 180 degrees.
  5. Fry the garlic for 15 minutes and let it cool.
  6. Pour the lemon juice and garlic into a bowl.
  7. Then pour the olive oil into the bowl and mix together with the garlic.
  8. Put it back in the oven, at the same temperature, for another 5 minutes.
  9. Take it out, let it cool, and strain it.
  10. To complete the recipe, keep the garlic and oil in the glass container.

The lemon helps to neutralize the strong smell of garlic, and gives its own healthy properties as well.
